What happened? Ver 2.4.8

Has been a fun game for a long time but this version on my iPhone 6s Plus its not good.
It wont register any combo over 8 in Autumn Gust as anything other than 8 and slicing the pomegranate hangs the screen almost every time and displays a 3 fruit combo. Fruit are so slow now and there are too many bombs.
Scores are terribly low now... Used to get over 1000 regularly in Arcade mode but now Im barely able to get 450
